Priority Watersheds

In an effort to improve water quality through the provision of educational trainings and outreach materials to select Texas watersheds, NRI’s Wild Pig Outreach Program targets priority watersheds in collaboration with the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board (TSSWCB). While additional educational trainings and outreach materials are also provided throughout Texas in non-priority watersheds, preference will be given to the following areas:
Priority Areas for Watershed Protection Plans (WPPs) and Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Implementation Projects
- WPPs
- TMDLs
